Can someone tell me what this place is like? Is it age appropriate for 5 year olds? Food and what type? Expensive or moderate? So new that there isn't anything about it yet. Someone who's been would have the answers I seek. Thanks in advance.

I can't say that our granddaughter's birthday party was a happy event.  The staff is inexperienced and poorly trained.  We were promised a script which was supposed to explain the sequence of events.  We were also told that our granddaugher would receive a build-a-bear with clothes as part of her party package.  We didn't recieve a script in addition to having to buy the clothes for the bear.  The franchise owner(Sabrina) called my wife a witch in front of a group of kids including our daughter and granddaughter.  She then told her very loudly to "get the f____ our of her store.  Several of the staff members attempted to apologize for her rude comments, but she insisted that we all leave the store.  I would like to strongly urge everyone in Dothan and the surrounding area to seriously consider not allowing their young children to attend any events held at the Ross Clark Circle branch of Kidz Kastle.  If you do, be VERY SURE that you don't voice any complaints or concerns or the same thing may happen to you.

Sincerely,

John Foster/Kathy Foster

I would highly advise not to go to kidz castle.  To me the service there and those hired their is AWFUL!  My husband and I took my daughter there about a month ago.  We saw they accepted Chuckie coupons.  When we arrived the employees were just standing there chatting.  After getting the attention of one...we gave them our coupon.  She then rolled her eyes and gave out a loud sigh.  She was very rude to us.  After they took our coupon to a back room...for what not sure...I advised my husband just to get the coupon back and we would just go to Chuckie cheeses...cause he was at his end with them as well.  Overall the service at kidz kastle is the poorest here in Dothan.  My advice if you don't like kids or family...should your job of choice be affiliated with those people?

My daughter has been hounding me to go there. However, because of these posts, I will not go there. I'll stick with what I know, which is Chuck E Cheese's, even though I've experienced below average service there. But NOTHING compared to what has been posted here!

I took my 2 children there this past Friday afternoon.  It was not that bad of an experience for us!  The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the machines would say 15 and you would get 2 tickets.  It seems that the machines that they have are used from other places and they didn't take the time to fix the winner tickets.  The food wasn't bad price and all the prizes were prized so you could purchase them if you didn't have enough tickets.  My kids are ready to go back :)!

Visited Kids Kastle in December and had an excellant experience. my kids
really enjoyed the visit and we all thought the food was great. The teenagers where nice, but we all know teenagers and how they can act. I work at a local bank and can tell you the games are all new. We'll
be back soon.

I am really suprised to come across an ad like this about Kid Castle.  I wanted everybody to know that we just had my daugher's birthday party at Kidz Kastle on January 6 2007.  It was the best party we have ever had for my daughter. I was really impressed about the 2 young girls that were hosting the party, they made it a very memorable party for everybody that come. I have also attended parties that My Church has had there and a party with my daughter's school Emmanuel Christian. They handled all 89 children in the group with fast and friendly service. I also wanted to mention, this place is the cleanest children's place in Dothan and they play a good selection of christian music for the kidz. I would like to make a suggestion to Kidz Castle.  I think you should have pictures of all the Birthday cakes that you offer. I would like to say that this place is so much better than Chucke Cheese's or Chucka Wonka's

Sincerely,       sochermom

I was going to let you know that you need to go and see kidz Castle for yourself.  All of these thing's I have read on this sight, sound like a couple of angry customers for reason or another.  I would go and see what a wonderful place it is.  My daughter loves the animal stuffing they have and all the prizes they offer.   sincerely sochermom

I have read a few of the posts from the angry customers, but I have to disagree with their comments. This past weekend my nephew had his 6th birthday at Kidz Kastle and, kids and adults alike, had an absolute blast! The two young ladies that were the "party hosts" did a wonderful job of making the party a fun and memorable experience. They took food orders, organized the party schedule, took on the task of handling the birthday boy's presents so the family could take pictures, and were genuinely nice people. The tokens were 5 for a dollar and most games were one token per game. I saw a previous post that stated that some games were posted as rewarding 15 tickets and only rewarded 2. On games like those, the number that is posted is how many points you accrue, not how many tickets you win. This is clearly stated in a disclaimer on those games.
At the end of the day, the birthday boy was given his choice of stuffed animal that is in the cost of the party.
All in all the day was wonderful for everyone! I would recommend Kidz Kastle for anyone trying to plan a birthday party or just wants to have a fun afternoon.

I wanted to know how to get Kids Kastle coupon's? I know they take Chuck e Cheese coupons, but where are the colored coupons coming from that offer 50 free tokens? I ask a customer and she told me she was unsure that she got it from her neighbor. Can anyone tell me where to get these coupons. I am so glad that this place come to Dothan. I love Kids Kastle it is so nice and clean, so much better than the place that was there before. Chunka wonks I beleive was the name. It was very rundown and dirty. Kidz Kastle is so much better. my chidren want to go everyweekend. Please somebody tell me if they see any coupons in the paper or magazines and where.

I know this subject was approached awhile back, but I'm reading it for the first time.  When I took my two daughters there in December we did not get good service.  We had a difficult time geting the teenagers' attention to even wait on us (as we stood at the counter looking at them).  However, I'm not convinced that someone who posted before isn't someone who works there trying to do damage control on this forum site after the bad reviews.  Obviously, I know most were honest replies.
