I have been out of Ozark for about 11 yrs now and will someday return because it is my home. I am baffled that a murder that was committed in a town with a population of 15,000 people could go unsolved for this many years. I live just outside the city that has the highest per capita murder rate in the U.S. Yes and you guessed it New Orleans, La. Where here you can hardly stand to watch the evening news because you know it will just be another murder. When I was growing up in Ozark as a little boy and teenager I can really on remember about three murders happening. I have read a few blogs with alot of opinions, but facts and answers are hard to come by concerning this case. There is no reason for one family much less two having to endure this much pain for this many years. |

Speaking of the two girls,
I was in the area last evening - so I decided to stop by.
I was expecting to find it trashed and overgrown, but that was not the case.
RIP girls. |

wrascal, it remains in pretty much untouched condition unless some of their folks or some of us core group members go over to tidy up. chase was over there a week or so ago. the police came by & he spoke with them.
i may miss my guess but i do believe the police are continuing to work on this. lets face it if they DO have leads it'd be dumb to be talking it up in public. this crime will be solved and i believe that.

Well,time is nearing,ten years almost.I hope the cold case unit gets on this case next.They just solved a 20 yr old case,and they know of JB and Tracie.. |

I moved from Ozark many years ago and now live near Birmingham. I was at a birthday party a couple of months ago, and when I told someone that I was from Ozark they told me something that very much lead me to believe that this case is still being worked and some progress had been recently made. I hate to stir up rumor and inuenda, but the person had no reason to lie to me, and I have very good reason to believe that they knew what they were talking about.

It hasn't been solved cause it is a cover up! years ago was working in enterprise was a womanizer.in the enterprise paper front page.just a bunch of our opinions sure looks that way. |

do you know if the private investigator looked into that person? i'm with you, i think it was either a person pretending to be the police or a police officer. why else would 2 teens pull over? |

listen up! all evidence points towards one person.this is my theory on who did it!!pay close attention i will tell you what i think & you can add it upI AM NOT ACCUSING ANYONE! SO ,LETS GET THAT STRAIGHT!WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED EVERYBODY IN OZARK SAID IT HAD TO BE A COP OR AN INVESTIGATOR CAUSE SIMPLY THATS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE.ALL EVIDENCE POINTS TO AN INDIVIDUAL. CLUE 1) POSSIBLE COP OR INVESTIGATOR CLUE 2) HE WAS THE CHIEF OF POLICE IN ENTERPRISE( i dont know for how long)BUT HE HARASSED WOMEN IN HIS OFFICE(4of them i think)THEY FINALLY SPOKE UP,IT WAS SETTLED OUT OF COURT.HIS DADDY HIRE 2 LAWYERS FROM BIRMINGHAM.CLUE 3) HIS PICTURE IS PLASTERED IN THE ENTERPRISE NEWSPAPER(telling details odf what he did) IT WAS BEFORE THE MURDERS HAPPENED.CLUE4) HE LEFT ENTERPRISE & GOT A JOB IN LAW ENFORCEMENT IN OZARK. CLUE 5) THE STORE WHERE THE GIRLS STOPPED AT WELL GUESS WHAT HE LIVES AT THE OTHER END OF THE STREET IN A BIG FINE HOME.YEARS AGO BACK BEHIND THERE WAS A PLACE CALLED JONES'S POOL(SPRING WATER FROM THE GROUND) CLUE 6) NOW GET THIS ~~ HE DROVE A LITTLE WHITE PICKUP JUST LIKE THE ONE SEEN IN THE VIDEO!! O YEA.... had for along time but its been gone?? CLUE 7) Hes a PERVERT AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED & A WOMANIZER. CLUE 8) HIS RESIDENCE IS NOT FAR FROM WHERE THE CAR WAS FOUND. CLUE 9) HE WAS PROBALY THE 1ST ONE TO THE SCENE SINCE THAT IS HIS PROFESSION. CLUE 10) HIS GRANDMOTHER DIED & THEY WOULD NOT LET NOBODY GET CLOSE TO THE COFFIN,THEY ACTED VERY STRANGE. GOOD PLACE TO HIDE SOMETHING!??OK NOW PLEASE HELP ME TO DECIDE YOU THINK SO OR NOT! I GAVE YOU ALL CLUES PLZ USE THIS & SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH. CAUSE I KNOW IF THIS MY CHILD IT WOULD DRIVE ME NUTS. PUT YOUR HEADS TOGETHER & TELL ME A NAME YOU THINK DISCREETLY OPR OTHERWISE.
