you know the more i see how the d.c.s.o. is operated , the more it aggravates me ! I WILL BE IN THE PUBLICS EYE , MORE IN THE FUTURE .  such as today even though peoples lives were at stake , with the shoot out in midlandcity , sure law enforcement had to be involved . yea and !!!!! why was the glorious s.o. last on scene ? most likely sitting at the waffle king sucking down JAVA ,  acting like super dale county heroes which they arent maybe IN ANOTHER COUNTY  being supervised by a much higher authority or  under new management in the near future YOU PEOPLE that want to keep a unproductive individual in office are blind and could give less about your fellow man , only to keep a relative in office .TRUST ME YOU WILL SEE MORE OF ME !!!!!!!!!!!! GET READY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONCE again my point being the s.o. should have ACTUAL  patrols out 24-7 not on a part time basis ... i spoke with someone that lives on dc 20 skipperville area a accident occured in front of his trailer he called 911 repoted the accident requested a deputy he was told there were no deputies available at that time he said he persisted and the 911 dispatch sent an OPD unit out , outside their j.d. they waited on scene until a A.S.T. unit could arrive 30 min. to an hour later .... im sure if montgomery , or the stupid dept. that gives d.c.s.o. their kick backs realized how blaintantly the d.c.s.o. is run if they had a brain any where in the building they would come down personnally and fly off into the great unknown with the dale county air force and let someone else work the equipment far better than the w.o.d.c.s.o. ever could or would .

when i do get into that office high in the sky on union ave. i am going to re-name the position of deputy , which they use way to much to  DEPUTY PATROLMAN - WOMAN make 'em work for a living then we'll see how people jockey for a slot with the d.c.s.o.  I WORK HARD ! i believe everyony that wants to be considered as a proffesional , be proffesional  SO DEPUTIES OR WANT 2 BE DEPUTIES  get your workin shoes on and lace 'em up cause when im there its on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have your opinion, as well as I have mine. We have those rights, and the freedom to voice them (allthough I often wonder how long it will be until the government censors it).

I find it very offensive they way you bash the Sheriffs Office. Until you walk in our shoes you do not have the right to bash ANY Deputy. If you want to get into law enforcement so bad, why dont you go and earn it the way we did? Go to a law enforcement academy. I went when I was 35 years old, and graduated with a 62 year old man, and another that was 56. Im not sure of your age, but if they can do it so can you. Everyone that works at our office earned the right to be there by getting the training and making the sacrifices. Sure, there are some older guys that are close to retirement ,and they may not do as much as some of the other guys, but you find that in any profession. They bring knowledge and experience to the office and should be allowed to finish their career without out pushing the envelope and getting killed 1 year before retirement! They have earned that right. As far as the Cantaberry shooting I was there within 1 minute of the call going out. I actually heard the shots from my patrol car.
Our aviation department serves all the surrounding counties, not just Dale. It is well funded through grants from the Department of Homeland Security.
dd2010 until you strap on the 30 pounds of gear we wear everyday, and risk your life for the citizens of our great county you do not have the right to bash us! If you want it so bad earn it. WO earned it before he was elected. Get the experience first then try to fix the problems.
