I'm sure you're correct, and we will check into it. We have the ability to take donations, but hopefully we won't have too.
Thanks, Norm

Great ideas! If you're volunteering to post this info, we can make an area for you
We do have some merchandise we may be offering soon, but we can't take donations.
Thanks for the input and contributions!

Can't take donations?!?!?!? I know that the site would not be considered a charity or other such recognized non profit organization, but "can't take contributions"? Why that has got to be the weirdest thing that I have heard......
I think that maybe you should check with an accountant or lawyer on that. As long as you are not representing that the contributions would be tax deductible to the givers and you report the money at tax time, then there should be nothing stopping you from doing so. |

Another thing that I think could add to the site is historical data on the small towns themselves. When did Ariton become a town? About home many people live in Ozark this year? What is the town of Enterprise know for? Etc.......
Also you could get some prizes to give a way with wiregrass.com logo on it.
Also don't be afraid to ask for donations from the visitors/users of your site. Heck if everyone gave $12 a year you wouldn't need but a few of us to cover your expenses. |

We advertise by word of mouth. Please let everyone that you can think of know about this site. Bring them here and build your community!

Ok so I know that this is a waste of posting space, but I could not resist.
I will say that I would like to see the Dothan residence a little more active on this board. All of yall Ozark people are putting us to shame.
Is there any plans of advertising this site in Dothan and other towns to get more people involved? |
