Doesn't have the money, yeah right. This person not only owns that business complex, he also owns several homes, apartments, and other business complexes within the land of Oz's city limits. So, it isn't a money issue, he writes up all his contracts to where the tenant has to bear the brunt of most all repairs needed AND he knew of the roof problem prior to them leasing. As far a Peebles goes, their merchandise is too overly priced for the degraded quality. I know a person that bought a sport jacket there for a funeral, he wore it to the service and to the cemetery. By the time it was all over and he met me for lunch, the buttons on the sleeves and front, ALL OF THEM, had fallen off. Walmart employs alot of people and gives to alot of charities and organizations, to include animals..........

No, Cmom, S. E. is not the same person that owns those two buildings or complexes. I only heard that the rent on the old walmart place was way too high and in need of some repairs.......

BESIDES , JUDGING BY THE SIZE STANDARD FOR WALMART . WAY TOO SMALL . THE RENT I DONT DOUBT BUT REMEMBER I THINK WALMART IS STUCK IN 2 PLACES IN OZARK , IN MARTINDALE PLAZA, THEN  THEY HAD MOVED ACROSS FROM THE POLICE DEPT. AT ONE TIME. . IF THIS IS STILL IN EFFECT WALMART HAS A LOT OF OVERHEAD EXPENSE TO SHED , THEN PRICES MIGHT FALL EVEN LOWER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!( WATCH OUT FOR FALLING PRICES) TEE , HEE !!!

I love shopping ay Fred's also. The Dollar tree is also good. You can find the neatest things at these two places. Carolyn-I miss Winn Dixie to. I wish that Food World was still here. You have to go to Dothan in order to find certain things, I love all the places that you mentioned. I buy some grocery items at Grocery Outlet, Super Sav, and Wal-mart, you could say I spread the love. He,he

Wondering, bet you knew my mom as a cashier at WD and Groc Outlet.  She worked for many years at Piggly Wiggly, and also worked at the former Super Foods.

I work in Daleville and am a frequent shopper of the Fred's over here. I usually go on my lunch hour. I am trying to shop more at the smaller stores. It's not as crowded as you don't have to walk all over the place to find different items.
